Personal Summary
Dr. Guyan Channer is a graduate of the University of the West Indies (UWI) where he completed his initial medical degree (MBBS) and subsequently his post-graduate degree (DM) in Otolaryngology (ENT).
He completed further super-speciality studies in Neurology, Otology & Skull base surgery at the University of Miami’s Miller School of medicine in Florida, USA.
He presently serves as head of Otolaryngology (ENT) department at the Kingston Public Hospital and as an Associate Lecturer/Examiner in the department of Radiology, Surgery, Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care at the University of the West Indies.
He has a special interest in Hearing and Balance disorders and as such is the founder/director of Ear, Hearing and Dizzy centre, Kingston, Jamaica.
